Plum Mango Grafted Fruit Tree

Bouea macrophylla, commonly known as gandaria or plum mango or mango plum in English, is a species of flowering plant native to Southeast Asia. The tree belongs to the family Anacardiaceae which also includes mango and cashew.

That's probably the reason why they look just like mini mangoes. And yes they do taste quite similar to mangoes too. Naturally sweet and flavourful.

Imagine looking at bunches of tiny plum mangoes dangling from your tree. Such a pleasant sight!

Plum mango tree is easy to care for, just like how you grow mango.

Start with limited grafted plant to short cut your time to harvest. You don't have to wait for 5 or 6 years to see the first fruits of of your plum mango if you grow from seeds. Within less than 2 years, you should be able to see your plant bloom with flowers and fruits subsequently provided with your proper care.

Pot size to grow plum mango: 60cm diameter x 45cm depth.

If you want even more fruits, do feel free to provide a bigger pot. More space, more nutrients, your plants will produce more fruits! Basic gardening!

Good soil to grow plum mango: Well drained and loose soil is always the best soil to grow any fruit trees.
